assets & behaviors regression analysis

The surveys of the assets, deficits, risk-taking and thriving behaviors of both the Midland countywide adolescent population as well as the county’s Juvenile Court Wards indicted that the greater the number of assets, the lower the number of risk-taking behaviors and the greater the number of thriving indicators of participating youth. TLC is researching the correlation between certain risk-taking behaviors and specific assets to determine whether and to what extent there is a linkage between them. The findings could be useful in suggesting interventions to prevent or minimize certain risk-taking behaviors while increasing thriving indicators. This project is supported by a grant from the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation.
