universal preschool project
The Midland County Educational Service Agency is sponsoring a Universal Preschool Project in Midland County. The first year of the project involves a pilot study in Coleman to determine the optimal methods for delivering such a program. The project is planned to be extended to other venues in the county in the future. The Legacy Center for Student Success is evaluating the community impact and sustainability of a universal preschool. The study’s results will be available in early 2008. The project is funded by a grant from the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation.
