Lisa A. Bis, Research Associate
Lisa Bis is a Research Associate at The Legacy Center for Student Success (TLC). She is involved with the design, development and implementation of effective interventions for TLC projects. Ms. Bis holds degrees from Delta College and Michigan State University with endorsements for both elementary and special education. She has classroom experience at Hillman (Michigan) Community Schools and the Bay County (Michigan) Public School Academy where she was a special education teacher. She has additional experience working with diverse students including those with emotional impairments, learning disabilities and cognitive deficits.
Ms. Bis is an active volunteer in her children’s classrooms. She also is involved in several educational ministries at her church and has taught religious education for a number of years.
Lisa and her husband Scott have three children. Her hobbies include reading, watercolor painting, travel and fitness training.
