Linda Stavropoulos, Community Volunteer

Linda Stavropoulos PhotoMs. Linda Stavropoulos is an active community volunteer in Midland and a former teacher. Linda holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Elementary Education and Sociology. She taught as both a classroom and a homebound teacher in Levittown, NY, in the classroom at the Gulliver Academy in Miami and for the Midland Public Schools, and as an Instructor at Northwood University.

Ms. Stavropoulos serves on numerous civic and community Boards. She is a member of the Juvenile Care Center Advisory Board and the Midland Entranceway Initiative Task Force. Linda also has served as the Chair of Matrix Midland as well as its Program Committee, as the Governor’s appointee to the Family Independence Agency Board and on the Board of the Literacy Council of Midland County. In addition, she is a long-standing member of the Executive Board of Northwood University’s Town and Campus initiative.

Linda and her husband Bill have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, politics, golf and performing arts.
